Before the traffic
lights were invented,
To direct the traffic
It was customary that a policeman stood
Directed the traffic.
Then many people complained
And were angry with the policemen,
That they were not fair
And did not keep the order.
Because sometimes a person would approach the policeman
And ask him to do him a favor,
Because there is a sick person at his home,
And the policemen will change the order as he
wishes.
Then everyone thought
that the policemen was not fair.
Thus many people were happy
and many people were not.
However nowadays
That the traffic police has become “still”,
And without a mind of his own,
Now each person accepts upon himself
The decision of the traffic light
And no one is angry with it
And no one begs it to do them favors.
